What are hands-on-keyboard attacks? (hands-on-keyboard attacks)

A method of executing commands by actual human hands, rather than programmatically and automatically performing operations such as command line interface (CLI), PowerShell, and hiding files and directories, as in old school hacking.

This technique is prominent in sophisticated attacks where a human adversary is involved in the intrusion and is active towards the target.
